The Balboa M-7 Heater element is made to be tough with it's Titanium coating to keep it clean. 

 To install the new style heater connections, remove the old copper straps from the circuit board and attach the new female connector to the circuit board.

This kit also includes Nyogel which is a dielectric grease that is used to seal and protect the terminals from moisture, prevent corrosion and insulate from short circuits.
